"LISTENING FOR THE TRUMPET"

The sinking of the Titanic, the unsinkable ship, for over 80 years  has been the subject of much conversation - even a movie, and I don't know how many,  but several book can be purchased.  Someone wrote, "This tragedy did not have to happen.  Of the 20 life boats, most  were partially empty."  It has been said "Only one lifeboat went back to help people that was in the water."  Only six of them were saved. Only, if, those who had been rescued had gone after those who hadn't.

From Ezekiel 33:6 we learn "If the watchman see the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people ... I will hold the watchman accountable for his blood."  I can't speak for you, but this I will say; "It make me sick to think that there are many in their "Comfort Zone," who just row off into the night,  save themselves, but do nothing about those who are dying around them.

We've been rescued from an eternity without God and without hope, and we are often unmoved,  or afraid for some reason to go after them.  Whatever the reason, the results are the same - we're saved, but they are going to die,  And their blood will be on our hands.

I am pleased to tell you,  there is still room in the lifeboat for all who read this and want to come aboard.  Please ...please, drop me a note if you need us to pray with you,  or for someone who is dear to you.  Life is much when God is in it.
